Service Delivery Manager
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Service Delivery Manager to take ownership of the effective delivery and continual improvement of our Building Safety Case service.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring our people, systems and processes work efficiently and consistently to deliver a high-quality service to our clients. You will combine strong operational management with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, working closely with technical, project management, client services and operational teams.
What you’ll be doing:
As Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of the Building Safety Case service, ensuring agreed standards, KPIs and client requirements are consistently achieved.
- Identify opportunities to improve the way we work, address service delivery issues and help develop scalable, efficient processes that support the continued growth of the service.
- Have responsibility for managing and developing non-technical members of the Building Safety Case team, helping to create a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Main Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of the Building Safety Case service, ensuring quality, consistency and client requirements are met.
- Lead, support and develop non-technical team members, including performance management, workload planning and development.
- Monitor service performance, KPIs, client feedback and recurring issues, taking action to improve delivery.
- Review and continually improve processes, systems, workflows, templates and service standards.
- Coordinate effectively across technical, project management, client services and operational teams.
- Manage client queries and escalations, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Support the development and scalability of the Building Safety Case service in response to regulatory, technical and business changes.
- Maintain relevant Building Safety knowledge and contribute to ISO 9001 and wider continuous improvement initiatives.
- Undertake occasional work-related travel, including overnight stays where required.

About you:
You will ideally bring:
- Experience in service delivery, operations, project coordination or a similar management role.
- Strong organisational and workload management skills.
- Experience of managing, supporting and developing team members.
- A strong understanding of process management and continuous improvement.
- The ability to monitor performance using data, KPIs and client feedback.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence handling client queries, escalations and service issues.
- A structured, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
- An interest in or understanding of Building Safety and the regulatory environment is preferred but not essential.
- A commitment to maintaining professional knowledge and CPD.
- The ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
