Service Delivery Manager
Location: London (On-site) Contract: Permanent Salary: Competitive, including Car Allowance and Flexible Benefits
Summary
Join our Facilities Management team at a prestigious legal services site in central London and take on a pivotal leadership role as Service Delivery Manager, reporting directly to the Contract Manager.
In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading a skilled team of supervisors, engineers, and contract support staff, and ensuring 100% contractual compliance—exceeding expectations where necessary. This role demands high standards of professionalism, quality, and customer focus.
The ideal candidate is a driven facilities management professional with experience thriving in complex, client-facing environments. You’ll need to allow teams to reach their full potential and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction while meeting budgeted revenue and margins.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team of supervisors, engineers, and support staff, ensuring manning levels and quality standards are consistently met.
- Take full accountability for customer satisfaction, revenue margins, and cost-effective service delivery, balancing financial targets with unwavering quality.
- Own contract mobilisation from inception to completion, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to clients—with a zero-output/business-as-usual approach.
- Drive financial performance, including gross profit delivery, Work in Progress (WIP) management, and timely debt collection to meet or exceed targets.
- Champion Health & Safety compliance, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and company SHEQ policies at all times.
- Optimise Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems and technology to boost productivity, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of PPM and reactive works for quality assurance, overseeing subcontractor performance to deliver value for money and contractual adherence.

Requirements
We’re looking for an inspiring and results-driven leader with:
- Proven experience delivering FM services in high-profile environments, such as legal services, professional services, or blue-chip sectors.
- Team management skills in handling multidisciplinary groups, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Financial acumen, including P&L accountability, managing Work in Progress (WIP), and debt collection.
- Leadership experience in contract mobilisation and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Competence with CAFM systems and ability to utilise data analytics for performance reporting.
- A relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (desirable).
