Reporting directly to the Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact and first-line manager for your region’s operational team.

This hybrid position blends active field-based leadership - conducting site audits and providing direct technical guidance to our engineers - with office-based commercial oversight, including monitoring productivity, managing vehicle fleets, and quoting on remedial works. You will be instrumental in achieving the best possible financial and operational performance within your area, acting as a direct role model for our company values.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide daily technical support, troubleshoot complex site issues, and conduct regular engineer audits to ensure work meets RAMS and client specifications.
  • Lead new-starter inductions, verify field competency, and actively mentor engineers to develop their skills.
  • Oversee the ordering of PPE and tools, and coordinate vehicle management (inspections, handovers, and maintenance).
  • Manage daily engineering operations, process timesheets, monitor productivity, and handle minor performance or conduct issues.
  • Scope, price, and track the financial performance of remedial projects while resolving day-to-day operational blocks.
  • Support client-facing Account Managers by providing operational context to contract KPIs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
