Service Delivery Technical Consultant | SQL | ETL | Software Implementations | Hybrid, London | £70k

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a growing software business for several Service Delivery Technical Consultants to join their professional services team. This is an excellent opportunity for technically strong consultants who enjoy working directly with customers and want to play a key role in delivering successful software implementations.

This role will offer a balance between technical delivery and customer engagement. My client is looking for individuals who can not only build robust data migration and integration solutions but also confidently guide customers through the implementation journey.

The Opportunity

As a Service Delivery Technical Consultant, you'll be responsible for delivering successful iCompli implementations, with a particular focus on SQL-based migrations, ETL processes, system configuration and integrations. You'll work closely with customers to understand their requirements, manage technical challenges and ensure projects are delivered successfully.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing role where communication skills are every bit as important as technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support implementation workshops and technical discovery sessions.
  • Analyse legacy data sources and define migration and transformation requirements.
  • Build, test and document SQL-based migration and ETL routines.
  • Configure the iCompli platform to meet customer requirements.
  • Support integrations with customer business systems and third-party applications.
  • Communicate technical risks, dependencies and recommendations clearly to customers and project stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot implementation issues and work closely with Engineering and Support teams to drive resolution.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation, migration specifications and handover materials.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of implementation processes and best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
