Purpose
Contribute to the design of better services — applying human-centred research methods, synthesising insight, and creating artefacts that help organisations understand their users and improve the experiences they deliver.

Years of Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in service design, UX research, or a related field.
- Experience conducting qualitative research and synthesising findings.
- Exposure to service design artefacts including journey maps, blueprints, and personas.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Design, Social Science, or a related field.

- Commit to human-centred methods and the discipline of listening before designing.
Craft
- Conduct qualitative research activities — interviews, observation, and workshop facilitation.
- Synthesise research findings into clear insights, themes, and opportunity areas.
- Create service design artefacts including personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and opportunity frameworks.
- Support the design and facilitation of co-design and ideation workshops.
- Develop your visual communication skills — producing clear, compelling artefacts that bring the work to life.
Project
- Support the delivery of a service design workstream with quality and care.
- Collaborate actively with product, content, and technology teams.
- Manage your time and deliverables effectively within project timelines.

Client
- Engage with client teams in a professional and collaborative way.
- Build confidence presenting research findings and design thinking to stakeholders.
- Develop an understanding of client context, user needs, and organisational dynamics.
Skillset
- Growing service design portfolio demonstrating research, synthesis, and artefact quality.
- Experience with qualitative research methods and user interviews.
- Ability to produce clear journey maps, personas, and service blueprints.
- Developing facilitation skills — comfortable supporting or leading small workshops.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
Portfolio Requirement
Applications without a design portfolio demonstrating craft quality, process, and relevant experience will not be considered.
