Type: Full-Time / Fixed Term Contract

Experience: 8-15 Years

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SD&T Manager to lead the design, transition, and implementation of new or changed services into live operational environments. You will ensure services are introduced seamlessly, with a strong focus on operational readiness, governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Service Design & Transition, who can bridge the gap between project delivery teams and operational support functions to ensure successful service adoption and long-term sustainability.

  • Ensure all operational readiness activities are completed prior to service go-live.
  • Define and maintain service transition governance frameworks and controls.
  • Coordinate release and deployment activities across technical and business teams.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with service introduction.
  • Work closely with project, engineering, operational, and business stakeholders to ensure successful handovers.
  • Ensure service documentation, support models, training, and knowledge transfer activities are completed.
  • Drive continuous improvement within Service Design and Transition processes.
  • Monitor compliance with organisational standards, policies, and ITIL best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
