Service Designer (Active SC) | Gov Project | 3-Month+ | up to £455 p.d (Inside IR35)
(As this is a very specific and time sensitive contract hire, we're only able to consider candidates that meet all of the listed requirements and are available to start within 4 weeks of receiving an offer.)

They're currently looking to recruit multiple freelance Service Designers with prior gov experience to join a complex programme of work with one of their biggest gov clients.
Requirements
- Experience with the GDS service standards and GOV.UK Design System
- Able to analyse and synthesise complex information into actionable insights, needs and recommendations
- Produced artefacts to evidence existing and new service systems and experiences
- Designed prototypes to test new service concepts
- Led and facilitated workshops and co-design sessions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Can clearly and diplomatically articulate tensions between technical, business and user needs.
- Worked in agile delivery teams
- Experience working in complex areas and dealing within accessibility and inclusivity issues would be ideal.
- Active SC clearance

*Please note: Whilst this is a remote-first contract opportunity, the project may require some ad hoc in-person research. Travel expenses are not covered by the client, so please only apply if you're comfortable with this arrangement.
