We’re an award-winning innovation and transformation consultancy operating at the intersection of global business management, service design and digital service development. We are a community of 100 experts located in London, Helsinki, and Oulu.
Now, we are looking for a Service / Business Designer to join our team in London!
As a Service / Business Designer at Hellon, you will play a key role in expanding our strategic design and digital development business by bridging the gap between future foresight, newest technologies, human needs and tangible business results.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end design: Plan and execute design processes from initial user understanding and business requirements to concept or operating model development and implementation. Translate complex user and business data into actionable insights.
- Business alignment: Balance human-centricity with business viability, ensuring that designed experiences drive measurable impact.
- Task ownership: Proven track record in executing tasks in a timely manner, within scope, under the steer and supervision of our senior leadership. Ability to independently own tasks and execute assignments in an agency environment.
- Client relationships: Support sales efforts and help identify new opportunities to add value for our existing partners.

We offer you a permanent position in an international and growing company. While we support flexible remote work practices, we also value in-person collaboration at our Clerkenwell office, where we work closely together to drive results. The salary range for this role is £40000-£55000 per annum, depending on your previous experience and skills.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Service / Business design expertise: At least 2-4 years of practical experience in service / business design, especially in user-centric design methodologies and business modeling.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent presentation and facilitation skills in English. You are comfortable navigating different organizational levels and managing multiple stakeholders at the same time.
- Impact-driven mindset: A proven ability to link design decisions to business goals and customer value.
- Project management skills: A structured and organized approach to work, with the independence to manage project tasks while knowing when to seek support.
- Proactivity and self-leadership skills: A self-starting mindset with the ability to take ownership of workstreams and drive projects forward independently while actively seeking opportunities to deliver impact.
- Curiosity & growth mindset: A genuine passion for learning and exploring new tools and ways of working. You are eager to stay at the forefront of AI development and integrate emerging technologies into the design process to enhance creativity and efficiency.
