Service Designer (Inside IR35)

On behalf of the NCA, we are looking for a Service Designer (Inside IR35) for an 8 month hybrid contract based up to 1 day per week in London, Birmingham, Warrington or Bristol.

An active SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. (Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.)

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Provide and gain approval of all key Service Management and Integration products required to define the outcome based scope for the Strategic Gateways procurement
  • Support the development of all ITT related (including requirement definition, transition and finance aspects of the ITT etc)
  • Provide supporting documentation including creating any collateral required to provide bidders with an understanding of the current operating environment which Strategic gateways will integrate including any services across all tiers that they are required to consume from other MSPs in order to build and operate the Strategic gateways Service
  • Lead on Agency / supplier engagement to agree Service management on boarding which includes but is not limited too
  • All SM operational processes and procedures defined and approved (SIAM target op model).
  • ITSM tooling on boarding
  • Service performance framework (SMRD) delivered and implemented
  • Identification and addressing of gaps in the service provision.
  • Delivery of a Service Design Pack (SDP) including Service Support Model for the integration of the SG service across all security environments into the DDaT ecosystem
  • Support the financial modelling for this procurement with the relevant Agency stakeholders e.g. Commercial, OCM, Finance.
  • Identification of interdependencies between the SIAM and other teams in the DDaT ecosystem and ensure these interface points are documented and agreed in the Service Design Packs
  • Identification of service boundaries and agreement of associated RACIs.
  • Creation of all artefacts required by Service Design and Transition (SDP, SAC Checklist, ORR and FORR packs)
  • Support the service transition manager in the end to end implementation of the SG services to ensure all stakeholders remain engaged and support the SDT process in order to gain OSCDs to plan
  • Publication of relevant Knowledge Articles.
  • Lead on service and supplier onboarding, including SIAM onboarding.
  • Support the cross-checking of obligations and requirements to the RTM.
