Senior Service Designer | £550 p/day | SC Cleared | Hybrid

Initial 3-month contract | Start ASAP | 1 day/month onsite - You choose: Newcastle / Manchester / Blackpool / Sheffield

We're looking for a Senior / Lead Service Designer for a high-profile Central Government programme tackling Fraud & Error at national scale. This is complex, user-centred work with real impact — think end-to-end services, vulnerable users, and multi-disciplinary teams doing proper GDS.

You will bring:

  • Senior / Lead level Service Design + proven Central Government / GDS experience
  • Expert knowledge of GDS standards, assessments, and design in an agile environment
  • Strong stakeholder management — comfortable challenging, influencing and aligning
  • Excellent comms — you can sell the design and bring people with you
  • Available to interview and start at short notice

The deal:

  • £550 p/day
  • SC Active or Eligible — must be UK based and eligible
  • Truly flexible hybrid — 1 visit per month to a hub of YOUR choice: Newcastle, Manchester, Blackpool or Sheffield
  • ASAP start, initial 3 months
