Service Designer – Public Sector Digital Transformation

If you love designing next-generation digital services that make real impact to 10s of thousands of users monthly, you'll love this Service Designer opportunity, where you'd lead design on a major 3-year public-sector digital transformation.

Salary: to £70-80,000

Location: Liverpool - Hybrid 1x per week onsite

What You’ll Do

  • You'll lead service design across Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live for a high-impact national transformation.
  • You'll have autonomy over service blueprints, user journeys and ecosystem maps.
  • You'll oversee co-design workshops and turn user insights into service improvements.
  • You'll support GDS service assessments and champion user-centred design.

What We Need

  • Strong experience designing services in the UK public sector.
  • Solid understanding of the GDS Service Standard.
  • Confident working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • SC-clearable.
