Service Designer - SC Cleared
£560pd Inside IR35 - Fully Remote.
Service Designer required with live SC Clearance for 6 months to help set up a Service Framework with TechOps across the services Cyber runs (PKI, Cross Domain Gateway, SOC, IMPEX)
- Plans service transitions from start to finish, with sequenced, resource-aware plans that make dependencies, critical path and decision points explicit.
- Defines readiness and operational acceptance criteria, including gated entry and exit criteria, go/no-go evidence and the service acceptance process.
- Plans cutover and hypercare, covering rehearsal, fallback and continuity arrangements and the exit criteria for hypercare.
- Has run IT service transitions through mergers, acquisitions, demergers and divestments. This includes Day One readiness, service separation or integration, coordinating application and data migration, and planning TSA exits so dependencies on the former parent or partner end cleanly.
- Keeps risk, issue and dependency management disciplined across several workstreams, suppliers or delivery partners.
- Has a strong record of hitting fixed, immovable deadlines without service interruption or degradation.
- Works comfortably within formal governance, including change boards, design authorities and programme boards, and reports clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Typically holds ITIL v4 and PRINCE2 Practitioner (or APM/MSP equivalent)
