We’re recruiting an on-site Service Desk Administrator for an education client of ours in Cambridgeshire. You’ll be the first point of contact for service desk queries, helping colleagues with everyday issues, keeping requests moving and making sure information is recorded accurately.

The role will include:

  • Responding to tickets, calls, and emails
  • Carrying out data administration
  • Producing simple reports
  • Maintaining user guides
  • Helping the team spot recurring issues or areas where the service could work better

You don’t need years of IT experience.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, comfortable using Microsoft Office, good with people, and confident working with data. You’ll need a relevant Level 2 IT qualification and GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or equivalent.

A big part of the opportunity is development. Alongside the job, you’ll work towards a Level 3 Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship, with 20% of your paid working time set aside for training and study.

You’ll also receive:

  • 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays and discretionary days
  • Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme

Due to the nature of this role, it will be fully on-site.
