We're hiring: Entry-Level Service Desk Analyst, Manchester (Hybrid)
Looking for your first step into IT support? We'll teach you everything you need.
QuantumIT, the team behind InPlace, makes software used by universities and organisations around the world to manage student placements and practice learning. Our UK team is growing, and we're looking for someone at the start of their career to join our Service Desk in Manchester and learn the job from the ground up.
What you'll do
- Be the first point of contact for our UK university and NHS customers
- Log, investigate and resolve support queries through our ticketing system and email
- Learn our product inside out, with structured training and support from an experienced team
- Help keep our knowledge base accurate and useful

What we're looking for
- Excellent written communication: clear, accurate and professional
- A genuine interest in IT and in solving problems
- Patience, curiosity, and a willingness to ask questions
- Ownership: you see an issue through to the end
- Customer-facing experience of any kind is a plus (retail, hospitality, contact centre, student roles all count)
No IT experience required. If you've done some self-study, a course or a qualification (e.g. CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation), tell us about it, but it isn't essential.

What we offer
- £28,000 salary, with a pay review after probation

- Hybrid working from our Manchester City Centre office
