Ensure the optimal performance of IT systems and services in a fast-paced environment as a Service Desk Support Engineer.

This company provides fully assured and managed IT services to its customers, with security and integrity of customer data at its core. You will be part of a 24/7 support function, working closely with users and wider IT teams to keep services running effectively.

About the Role

  • Provide technical support to users across a range of hardware, software and connectivity issues
  • Diagnose faults, identify solutions and escalate more complex problems where required
  • Manage incidents and service requests through an IT service management platform, respond to alerts or emerging issues
  • Keep users informed and provide clear, professional technical guidance
  • Work with wider IT teams to resolve complex incidents and improve service performance

About You

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in an IT support, service desk or technical support role
  • Experience with an ITSM platform such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management or similar
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and enterprise collaboration tools, e.g. Teams and SharePoint
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Eligibility: sole British Citizens only due to security clearance requirements

  • Working hours: This role requires the ability to work in a 24/7/365 rotational shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
