Service Desk Engineer – Hull

£27,000 - £30,000 + Excellent benefits

A well-established and growing professional services business are seeking an experienced Service Desk Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for a user base of more than 500. You will have a track record of providing IT support for network, software, system and hardware issues, escalating where required.

You will be joining an established IT team, acting as the first point of contact for all things IT and contributing to the smooth running of networks, systems and hardware. You will have strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and customer service skills as well as the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and contribute to process improvements. This role will be primarily based in central Hull.

Experience Required

  • At least 2 years of relevant IT Support Experience
  • Proven experience working with SLAs
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft 365
  • Experience with Networks – VPNs, DNS, Wi-Fi etc
  • Ticketing Systems
  • Entra ID / Active Directory
  • Competent with supporting various hardware
