Service Desk Engineer

Woking, Surrey | Hybrid
£25,000 - £35,000 + benefits package

An exciting opportunity to join a high-performance technology business working at the cutting edge of automotive, motorsport, transport, electrification and telemetry. Our client is looking for a Service Desk Engineer to provide 1st-line technical support across the business, helping employees get the most from their technology while supporting a fast-moving, engineering-focused environment.

The Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for IT support, managing incidents and service requests through to resolution while working closely with the wider Business Technology team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide 1st-line support via the Service Desk and on-site Tech Bar
  • Troubleshoot Windows and Mac hardware and software issues
  • Provision, configure and decommission laptops and user devices
  • Support Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, Entra ID and JAMF environments
  • Install and package engineering and CAD applications
  • Support meeting rooms, printers and other workplace technology
  • Manage incidents within agreed SLAs and escalate where required
  • Maintain IT assets, documentation and knowledge articles
  • Support new-starter IT inductions and onboarding
  • Assist with information security and ISO 27001 requirements
  • Work across multiple local sites and participate in an out-of-hours support rota

About You

We’re looking for someone with previous Service Desk / IT Support experience who combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with excellent customer service.

Experience supporting engineering, CAD or automotive environments would be highly advantageous.
