Enterprise IT Service Desk Role
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking to develop a career within an enterprise IT Service Desk environment supporting over 7,000 users across client and partner organizations.
Successful candidates may have the opportunity to apply for permanent positions in the future. Any progression to a permanent appointment would be subject to the Council's recruitment processes and pay arrangements in place at that time.

The Service Desk operates between 8:00am and 6:00pm, and you will work on a rotating shift pattern within these hours.

What you'll be doing:
- Provide second-line support for incidents, service requests and technical issues escalated from first-line support teams.
- Diagnose and resolve issues relating to Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, device management, identity and access management, endpoint technologies and business applications.
- Work closely with resolver groups, suppliers and technical specialists to restore services and minimise business disruption.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Level 1 analysts whilst supporting service improvement activities, problem management investigations and knowledge article development.
