Service Engineer
£35,000 - £38,000 + Company Vehicle + Paid Accommodation + Daily Allowance
Field Based | Nationwide Travel
We are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering business operating across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working independently at customer sites.
The role will involve planned maintenance, equipment testing, inspections and repairs on a range of electromechanical safety systems. Full product training will be provided.
The Role
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned service and maintenance activities at customer sites
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and replacing components where required
- Testing cables and identifying basic electrical faults
- Supporting system testing and commissioning activities
- Completing service reports and compliance documentation
- Working safely at height using access equipment
- Travelling throughout the UK and staying away when required
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with experienced Service Engineer professionals or engineers from a maintenance, mechanical or electromechanical background who can demonstrate:
- Mechanical fault finding and repair experience
- Experience working on industrial or electromechanical equipment
- Basic electrical testing and fault diagnosis skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationwide
