Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Coventry. The Service Engineer will install, commission, and maintain ANCA CNC machines at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

  • Diagnosing technical issues
  • Performing mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Providing hands-on technical support to customers
  • Conducting preventive maintenance
  • Updating software and hardware as needed
  • Documenting service activities in line with company standards
  • Collaborating with internal teams
  • Communicating clearly with customers
  • Supporting continuous improvement of service processes

Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.
  • Field service experience, including on-site customer support and travel to customer locations as required.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and global support teams.
  • Technical support capabilities, including diagnosing faults, guiding users, and resolving complex service cases.
  • Maintenance & repair experience with CNC machinery or similar industrial equipment.
  • Relevant technical qualification in engineering, mechatronics, electronics, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and documentation, and use diagnostic tools and measuring equipment.
  • Comfort working in industrial environments, with a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn new technologies, and capability to work independently and in teams.
