We are looking for an experienced Domestic Appliance Engineer to join our team, installing, servicing and repairing domestic appliances across residential developments within a designated region.
This role is focused on delivering a professional, high-quality service rather than completing high-volume, rushed workloads. You will manage each job from the initial visit through to completion, ensuring residents receive a reliable and customer-focused service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, diagnose, service and repair domestic appliances, including:
- Washing machines
- Dishwashers
- Ovens
- Fridge freezers
- Other major goods
- Manage jobs from initial attendance through to completion and reporting
- Safely remove, transport and install appliances when required
- Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical, health and safety standards
- Maintain accurate job records, reports and supporting documentation
- Communicate professionally with residents, colleagues and site teams
- Manage your own workload and daily schedule effectively

About You
- At least two years’ experience in domestic appliance repair
- Experience working with a range of major domestic appliances and goods
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned jobs
- Professional, reliable and customer focused
- Well organised, with good attention to detail
- Based in or within easy travelling distance of the Croydon area
- Willing to travel occasionally when required

Desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Formal technical training with a leading appliance manufacturer
