About the Role

Got a knack for fixing things and making them run better than before? As part of our close-knit Service Team, you'll deliver hands-on service and calibration support for customer equipment, both in our workshop and on customer sites across the UK and EU. You'll also help keep our own manufacturing equipment and facilities running smoothly, and take ownership of building and assembling equipment for sale. You'll report to the Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and calibrate air samplers, Multi-SAS and SAS Isolator systems, including regular visits to customer sites around the UK and Europe
  • Quote for repairs and calibrations directly with customers
  • Build, test, and ship new equipment orders
  • Check and verify other engineers' service and calibration documents
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and step in on general site/facilities repairs, including PAT testing

Your Profile:

We're looking for someone who's reliable, adaptable, and genuinely enjoys hands-on technical work with an eye for detail. You'll fit right in if you're a clear communicator with a positive, can-do attitude, happy to travel and occasionally stay away from home for short periods.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified electrical/mechanical engineer (BTEC ONC, City & Guilds, apprenticeship, or degree equivalent)
  • Multi-skilled electrical/mechanical background with servicing, fault-finding, or repair experience
  • Full driving licence and valid passport for EU travel required
  • Comfortable logging service/calibration data in an ERP or asset management system
  • Facility maintenance or cleanroom experience is preferred
