Full-time Field Service Engineer

I am hiring for a full-time Field Service Engineer role for a leading manufacturer of high-quality industrial compressed-air systems, providing energy-efficient compressors, air treatment and complete solutions to businesses across a wide range of industries.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing air compressors and ancillary equipment.
  • Carrying out diagnostics, maintenance, and fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including service databases, job sheets, and mileage reports.
  • Providing a high level of customer service and acting as the link between the company and their customers.
  • Working closely with the Service Manager Coordinators as part of a dedicated mobile service team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in servicing and repairing compressed air or similar rotating equipment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and pipefitting experience (refrigeration experience desirable).
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • FGAS certification, BCAS DipCAM, or other relevant qualifications are highly desirable.

Compensation

  • Pay is up to £42,000 depending on experience.
  • Bonus and enhanced overtime rate available.
  • Company car provided.
