Service Engineer (Solar Installation / Regional Patch)

£45,000 - £55,000 + 10% Annual Bonus + Company Vehicle + Training + Progression + Company Benefits

Leeds - West Yorkshire patch

Are you a Service Engineer with experience installing solar PV systems looking to join a rapidly growing renewable energy business, where you'll work across a local West Yorkshire patch receiving a company vehicle and long-term career progression?

This rapidly growing business specialises in innovative renewable energy and battery storage solutions, supporting customers across the UK with the installation, maintenance and technical support of clean energy systems. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced Solar Service Engineer.

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of solar PV systems across West Yorkshire. You'll attend customer sites to carry out installations, fault-finding and technical troubleshooting, using your electrical knowledge to diagnose issues and ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently. You'll also provide technical support to customers and installers, with further product training provided to develop your expertise.

The Role:

  • Install, commission and maintain solar PV systems across West Yorkshire
  • Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and technical troubleshooting on solar systems
  • Provide technical support to customers and installers on solar PV equipment
  • Complete electrical testing and ensure installations meet relevant standards
  • Travel to customer sites across the West Yorkshire patch using a company vehicle
  • Manage your own diary and workload with no on-call requirement
  • Receive full product training and develop your knowledge across renewable energy technologies

The Person:

  • Experience as a Solar Installer, Solar PV Engineer, Service Engineer or similar
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar and electrical systems
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Full UK Driving Licence
