Responsibilities / Tasks

  • This role can be based anywhere in the South East area
  • Perform service and maintenance tasks and compile comprehensive reports on observations.
  • Conduct spare parts installation and service inspections following established procedures.
  • Travel for job-related purposes as necessary.
  • Execute investigations and troubleshooting as needed, providing written documentation of findings.
  • Execute installation tasks as required.
  • Perform testing and commissioning of equipment, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed.
  • Maintain safe working practices at all times and adhere to Health & Safety policies.
  • Provide continuous feedback on market conditions for overall business benefit.
  • Conduct all activities in a way that ensures the health and safety of oneself and colleagues.
  • Represent the company on-site with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Nurture strong relationships with customers.
  • Contribute to business growth in line with specified targets.
  • Identify opportunities within the customer base for service sales.
  • Develop relationships with prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.

  • Mechanical / Electrical engineering background
  • Previous experience in servicing / maintaining machinery.
  • City & Guilds 2079 qualification essential
  • Preferred City & Guilds 2078 (Ammonia)
  • Strong understanding of Industrial and Commercial Heating & Refrigeration
  • A high standard of technical expertise in various types of machinery.
  • Natural solutions provider.
  • Product/systems knowledge
  • Knowledge of industry developments
  • Ability to build long term relationships
  • Must have legal right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not provided
