Job Description Summary
As the GE HealthCare Multi-Vendor X-ray Field Engineer, you will be responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the customer's equipment and driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with customer representatives.
In this role, you will be responsible for the Midlands and North of UK, mainly on the M62 corridor.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced, total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and service repair on OEM non-GE designated X-ray equipment, including but not restricted to Philips, Siemens, Canon, and Samsung.
- Daily interface with Department Staff on equipment status and any ongoing issues. Acts to ensure satisfaction of primary customers.
- Maintain daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
- Keep customer service logs and internal service records up to date.
- Maintain tools and test equipment and ensure they are calibrated.
- Identify sales opportunities and communicate them to the account team.
- Work as a member of the local team to provide efficient and cost-effective service delivery.
- Manage warranty and Planned Maintenance Service (PMS) contract cost control.
- Support and mentor other Field Engineers on advanced troubleshooting and technical fixes.
- Lead complex and multifunctional system installations.
- Maintain quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standards and GE HealthCare Service Quality policies.

Qualifications

- Qualified to National Diploma or B-Tech Degree level or equivalent.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Solid Field Services experience in OEM-trained X-ray systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of X-ray systems and related imaging modalities.
- Proficient in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- High work standards, initiative, and motivation.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to influence and build relationships effectively.
