About the Role
As a Service & Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of our close-knit engineering team, delivering high-quality service and calibration support for customer equipment - both in our workshop and on customer sites across the UK. You will also keep our own manufacturing equipment and facilities running, and build and assemble equipment for sale.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is a varied, hands-on role for someone who takes pride in getting things right first time.
Key Responsibilities:
Service & Calibration
- Service and calibration of air samplers and Multi-SAS systems, including regular visits to customer sites around the UK and Europe
- Liaise with customers, including quoting for repairs and calibrations
- Checking and verifying other engineers service/calibration documents
- Handling sales orders of new equipment, building orders, and shipping
- Build and test of own equipment, including SAS Isolator systems
- Customer site installation work for SAS Isolator
Maintenance & Facilities
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance of company equipment and facilities
- Liaise with external contractors for specific maintenance, servicing, or facilities work
- General site/facilities maintenance and emergency repairs, including PAT testing
- Calibration of company equipment

Your Profile:
You are methodical, reliable, and take a right-first-time approach to everything you do. You bring:
- Qualified electrical engineer - BTEC ONC, City & Guilds, apprenticeship, or degree level
- Multi-skilled electrical/mechanical background with experience in fault finding, servicing, and repair
- Some experience in facilities maintenance and PPM is an advantage
- Proficient in Windows; comfortable with ERP and asset management systems
- Full UK driving licence (required for site visits)
- Valid passport for EU travel
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, positive attitude
