We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer

We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Cyber Security team and play a key role in strengthening security across our diverse technology estate. This is a hands-on technical position, ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively and making a tangible impact on reducing cyber risk.

You'll take ownership of vulnerability remediation and patch management activities, working closely with Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Operational Support teams to improve cyber resilience, reduce technical debt and enhance security across the business.

What you will be doing...

  • Take ownership of vulnerability remediation across servers, endpoints and infrastructure platforms.
  • Plan and execute operating system and application patching activities across the estate.
  • Prioritise remediation efforts based on risk, exploitability and business impact.
  • Drive the reduction of critical and high-risk vulnerabilities while tackling remediation backlogs.
  • Use vulnerability management tools, including Qualys, to identify, assess and remediate security weaknesses.
  • Validate and test remediation activities to ensure vulnerabilities are effectively resolved.
  • Investigate recurring vulnerabilities, patching issues and remediation failures.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and operational teams to schedule and deliver remediation activity.
  • Support the reduction of aged vulnerabilities and technical debt.
  • Maintain accurate remediation records, reporting and audit evidence.
  • Contribute to KPI reporting and the continuous improvement of remediation processes.
  • Work within established change, maintenance and release management processes.
  • Escalate operational risks, blockers or challenges where appropriate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
