BMS Service Manager
Essex/London Region
£60,000 - £80,000 + Company car or car allowance + private healthcare + pension + 23 days annual leave + bank holidays + birthday off + hybrid working
We're working with an established and growing BMS, smart-building and energy management business that is helping clients improve the way their buildings operate, perform and consume energy.
They're now looking for an experienced BMS Service Manager to take ownership of the service operation, leading engineers, managing client relationships and ensuring customers receive a consistently high level of technical support.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the BMS service engineering team.
- Oversee planned, reactive and preventative maintenance activity.
- Manage engineer allocation, workload and response times.
- Act as a senior point of contact for key customers.
- Monitor service performance, KPIs and customer satisfaction.
- Support the commercial team with renewals, additional works and opportunities.
- Assist with technical escalations and complex BMS issues.
- Manage subcontractors and external suppliers where required.
- Ensure engineers operate in line with company procedures and H&S requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve service processes and efficiency.
- Support recruitment, development and mentoring of engineers.

Desired Experience
- Strong BMS service engineering background.
- Previous experience managing engineers or a BMS service function.
- Good understanding of HVAC controls and BMS systems.
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage client expectations.
- Experience with Trend or other major BMS platforms would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
