Grade 17 - £59,013 per annum

37 Hours per week

Based at Vision Products, Pontyclun

Lead the Future of Vision Products and Make a Difference

Vision Products is a unique and ambitious Supported Business based at Coed Cae Lane Estate in Pontyclun and sits within Adult Services at Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, delivering a diverse range of services that improve lives, promotes independence and creates meaningful employment opportunities.

We are seeking an exceptional passionate leader to take on the role of Service Manager and provide strategic direction for a high-profile service that combines commercial activity, social purpose and regional partnership delivery. You will have responsibility for the overall leadership, sustainability and future development of Vision Products and ensure staff are managed and supported effectively.

About The Role

As Service Manager, you will provide visible and inspirational leadership across all areas of Vision Products, ensuring services are financially sustainable, commercially successful and focused on delivering excellent outcomes for customers, partners and communities.

You Will

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for Vision Products.
  • Lead service transformation and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Drive commercial growth, income generation and business development opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, health partners, commissioners and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and develop a diverse workforce and management team.
  • Maximise social value, supported employment opportunities and community impact.
  • Ensure Vision Products remains innovative, responsive and sustainable in a changing environment.

About You

We are looking for an experienced leader who can demonstrate they have experience of leading services with strong strategic thinking and change management skills. The ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams is key to this role along with strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement. You will be expected to have experience in driving both performance and financial accountability of budgets and have solid experience of commercial management and business development.
