Location: Stokesley (Beautiful rural scheme just outside of town)

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Our Stokesley Scheme: A Beautiful Place to Lead

This role oversees our beautiful, tranquil scheme located just on the outskirts of the rural town of Stokesley.

At this service, the people we support live in their own private apartments, allowing them to maintain their independence and privacy, while sharing access to gardens that feature a dedicated sensory area immersed in nature. It is a peaceful, calming environment for our staff to work in and for the people we support to call home.

The Role: Service Manager

Are you an experienced Service Manager, or a proven, ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in your career?

As our Service Manager, you will hold full operational, quality, and leadership responsibility for our Supported Living service in Stokesley. Supported by our senior leadership team and central functions, you will be accountable for service performance, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.

This role is ideal for:

  • An experienced Service Manager looking for a rewarding role in a beautiful setting
  • A highly skilled Deputy Manager with a proven track record of leading teams, managing quality, and ensuring compliance, who is ready to step up into their first Service Manager position.

You will spend the majority of your week based directly within the service, ensuring that high-quality, person-centered care is always at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Provide clear direction, leadership, and management to Team Leaders, Support Workers, and the wider service team.
  • Strategic Partnership: Work closely with the Area Manager to shape the strategic direction of the service and implement overall organizational goals.
  • Person-Centered Outcomes: Continually evaluate and improve support outcomes for the people in our care, collaborating closely with the Area Manager and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Lead.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and contractual obligations, implementing robust quality assurance measures.
  • Active Oversight: Maintain a strong, visible presence within the service to guide staff, ensure safety, and uphold our high standards of care.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, you will bring a passion for delivering outstanding care and the leadership skills to inspire your team. We are looking for:

  • Professional Qualifications: Already have your QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)? Fantastic! If not, do not let that hold you back—we are fully committed to investing in your future and will completely fund your QCF Level 5 qualification.
  • Leadership Excellence: Strong staff management skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and support a diverse team.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: A deep understanding of CQC regulations, health and social care legislation, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Drive & Passion: Enthusiasm, resilience, and a determination to guide the service toward an "Outstanding" rating.
  • An Inspiring Outlook: A positive, hands-on manager who leads by example and champions the independence and dignity of the people we support.
