Service Manager
A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services across a high-profile contract. This is an excellent opportunity to lead operational performance, drive compliance and build strong relationships with key stakeholders while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

The Role
As The Service Manager, You'll
- Lead the safe and compliant delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services.
- Ensure maintenance activities are delivered in line with statutory legislation, health & safety standards and contractual requirements.
- Manage day-to-day service delivery, coordinating in-house teams and supply chain partners to achieve KPIs and service levels.
- Oversee safe systems of work, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements and permit-to-work processes.
- Ensure CAFM systems and maintenance records are accurately maintained.
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and contractors, acting as a key operational contact.
- Support the delivery of small works, providing technical guidance and assisting with cost estimates and project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement, managing operational performance, costs and risk while promoting a positive safety culture.

Role
To be successful in the role of Service Manager, you'll bring:
- Experience managing planned and reactive maintenance within a Facilities Management or Building Services environment.
- Experience delivering small maintenance or refurbishment projects.
- HNC (or equivalent experience) in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- SMSTS or an equivalent management-level Health & Safety qualification.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CAFM systems.
- A sound understanding of statutory compliance and safe systems of work.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- A proactive approach to operational performance and continuous improvement.

- Experience or willingness to act as an Authorised Person for disciplines such as Legionella, Asbestos, Confined Spaces or Working at Height (training provided).
