Service Manager – South
Competitive salary + Bonus + Company Car + Private Medical + Hybrid Working
Ready to step into a Service Manager role with real commercial ownership? If you're an experienced Service Manager, Service Centre Manager or Branch Manager who's progressed from the tools into leadership, this is an opportunity to take ownership of an established Southern operation with genuine influence over its success.
This isn't a role where you'll be pulled back onto the tools. As Service Manager, you'll lead an experienced team, manage the regional P&L (training and support can be provided if required), drive profitability, and play a key role in shaping the future of the business.
With a fantastic base salary and a lucrative bonus, hybrid flexibility, and long-term career progression, this is a Service Manager opportunity designed for someone ready to make a real impact.
Your role as Service Manager
As the Service Manager, you'll take responsibility for the Southern service operation, covering a service region stretching across the South of the UK.
- Lead a well-established team of Service Engineers, Supervisors and office staff, ensuring the operation runs efficiently while delivering exceptional service to customers.
- Own the commercial performance of the region.
- The business can teach products, but they need a Service Manager who already understands how to manage profitability, costs and performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
