Service Manager / Senior Field Care Supervisor - Supported Living (Adults with Complex Needs)
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (plus participation in the on-call rota)
Location: Chesterfield - with need to travel to services
Full UK driving licence required
IBC Healthcare is looking for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of high-quality, person-centred care across our supported living services for adults with complex needs.
Reporting to the Registered Manager, you'll oversee and coordinate care and support across services, making sure every person we support is treated with dignity, given real choice, and encouraged to live as independently as possible. You'll deputise for the Registered Manager when needed and work closely with our wider team of Field Care Supervisors to keep care consistent, safe and compliant across the region.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who leads by example, enjoys developing a team, and takes pride in getting the details right.
About The Role
As a Field Care Supervisor, you'll take day-to-day leadership of a cluster of Supported Living services across Chesterfield, supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. You'll work closely with Registered Managers, professionals and families to build stable, trusted services, but the emphasis is on being hands-on: out in your services regularly, managing people directly, and owning quality and compliance rather than delegating it.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading, supervising and developing care teams to deliver consistently excellent, outcome-focused care
- Supporting recruitment, induction and performance management, and identifying training needs across your team
- Completing staff rota's
- Managing staff rotas to meet commissioned hours and maintain safe staffing levels
- Overseeing support plans, risk assessments, PEEPs, PBS plans, hospital passports and service guidelines
- Monitoring and auditing key service areas including medication, finances, health and safety and quality assurance
- Ensuring services meet CQC regulations, safeguarding standards and internal policies
- Supporting the investigation and resolution of complaints, incidents and concerns
- Planning and leading team and house meetings
- Providing hands-on support when needed, including personal care, and accompanying people to appointments and reviews
- Supporting people with budgeting and daily finances, and helping with transitions in and out of services
- Taking part in the regional on-call rota, offering guidance and emergency response

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or Field Supervisor in social care
- A genuinely hands-on leadership style, confident managing people face-to-face, not just on paper
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and care compliance, with a track record of driving quality up
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs
- Confident managing rotas, supervisions and staff performance
- Full UK driving licence. You'll be driving between services across Chesterfield as a core part of the role
