Job Description
Location: Bradford – leading a luxurious, purpose-built supported living service
Salary: Competitive salary plus Service Manager Bonus Scheme
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Manager to lead a luxurious, purpose-built supported living service in Bradford, providing high-quality, person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex support needs. We are able to consider managers from a supported living, residential or domiciliary care background. Turnaround experience highly desirable.
The service has been thoughtfully designed to provide a modern, comfortable and aspirational home environment, comprising 14 stylish one-bedroom apartments, creating a welcoming community where people can live with greater independence, choice and dignity.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and passionate leader who wants to make a real difference. You will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the service, developing a strong and positive team culture, maintaining excellent standards of care and compliance, and ensuring the people we support achieve the best possible outcomes.

- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, performance and development of the service
- Lead, motivate and develop your team to deliver safe, effective and genuinely person-centred support
- Create a positive culture where people are supported to live independently, make choices and achieve their personal goals
- Ensure consistently high standards of care, safeguarding, compliance and quality assurance
- Build strong and positive relationships with the people we support, their families, colleagues and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure the service continues to deliver an exceptional standard of support
- Lead effectively through change, identifying opportunities to improve both the service and the experience of the people living there
- Develop your team through coaching, supervision, performance management and visible, supportive leadership
- Monitor service performance and take ownership of achieving key operational, quality and financial objectives
- Ensure the apartments and wider service environment remain safe, welcoming, well-maintained and reflective of the high-quality support we aim to provide
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a management role within supported living, residential or domiciliary care
- Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding and quality standards
- A confident, hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire, develop and hold teams accountable
- The resilience and confidence to manage challenges, lead change and drive continuous improvement
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and/or complex behaviours
- NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards it
- Strong organisational, operational and people-management skills
- A genuine passion for enabling people to live fulfilling, independent lives
