Sandwell Children's Trust are looking for a Service Manager for their Children We Care for Service on a 3 month Fixed Term basis.

About the Role
As a Service Manager working in Children We Care For at the Trust you will:
- Lead the service in the management of the workloads focused on effective planning that is child centred, focused on permanence and ensuring staff supervision and practice standards are embedded.
- Ensure interventions and support for children and young people through multi-agency approaches are signposted and managed with the agreed standards guidelines for working with children and families; provide scrutiny, professional guidance, quality assurance and direction to your service.
- Hold practitioners and managers to account for meeting required standards of practice and driving performance through effective supervision, appraisal and support and support the Trust's priorities and transformation and to ensure that statutory duties and regulations are met.

About You
- Qualified Social Worker, Social Work England registered and willing to undertake an enhanced DBS.
- Confident and inspirational leader with experience in management gained within Children’s Services.
- Excellent organisational skills, a head for complexity, and know how to improve services.
- Significant knowledge of working with vulnerable children in need of statutory safeguarding intervention in a range of settings and from a variety of backgrounds.
- Proven track record of supporting continuous improvement in service delivery.
