Service Manager (Controls / Vacuum / High Voltage)

£56,000 - £60,000 + Company Car + Annual Bonus + 1.5x Overtime + International Travel Opportunities + Flexible Hours + Monday to Friday + Progression + Training

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Are you a Service Manager or an experienced Service Engineer with experience in Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation and either vacuum or High Voltage systems, looking to work for a company in-house and specialist training to develop your skillset and prides itself on giving staff a clear pathway of progression to more senior roles?

In this role you will be split between the office and client visits, where you will be managing a team of Service Engineers, offering advice and training to others. You will also be expected to complete risk assessments, method statements and work alongside the production team to understand and aid with developing new, bespoke systems.

This company are a specialist with supplying bespoke technology to the defence, material science, aerospace and nuclear industries globally since the 1990's. They supply brand new systems, provide support as well as upgrade existing ones. Due to the varied nature of the role, your workday will be varied, and you will develop your skillset, taking your career to the next level.

This role would suit a Service Manager or similar with Vacuum or High Voltage system experience looking to advance your career with leading business that provides a lot of progression and a range of benefits.

The Role:

  • Coordinate a team of service engineers
  • Receive training on bespoke vacuum and high voltage systems
  • Communicate technical findings, provide recommendations and produce clear service reports
  • Complete risk assessments and method statements
  • Office based, with occasional travel to clients sites

The Person:

  • Service Manager or similar
  • High voltage or vacuum system experience
  • UK driving license
