Are you an experienced care leader who is passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives?
We’re looking for a Service Manager to lead and develop our services in Brighton, creating a positive, supportive and high-performing culture where both the people we support and our teams can thrive.
Working closely with an experienced Area Manager and Regional Director, you’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support across two independent supported living services and a small outreach service for working-age adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
In This Role, You Will
- Lead, motivate and develop a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
- Ensure services operate safely, effectively and in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Support people with complex needs to achieve positive outcomes, greater independence and an improved quality of life.
- Build a strong team culture through coaching, training, development and effective performance management.
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders, families and external professionals to continuously improve service quality.
- Take ownership of the day-to-day operational management of the services, ensuring they are well-led, compliant and financially sustainable.
- Lead with purpose, inspire your teams and play an important role in shaping the future of our services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
