Lead a High-Performing Multi-Franchise Service Operation
We are seeking an experienced and driven Service Manager to lead our busy Stellantis Service Centre, supporting the aftersales operations for Fiat Professional, Vauxhall, Citroën and Peugeot vehicles.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who can inspire teams, deliver outstanding customer experiences, drive profitability, and ensure operational excellence across a modern multi-franchise workshop environment.
Reporting to the Head of Service, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Stellantis Service Centre, ensuring maximum workshop efficiency, excellent customer satisfaction, and achievement of financial objectives.
You will lead a team of service advisors, workshop controllers, technicians and support staff while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, quality and health & safety.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).
Salary: OTE £60,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operation of the service department.
- Drive workshop productivity, efficiency and labour sales performance.
- Lead, coach and develop service advisors, workshop controllers and technicians.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including:
- Recovery rates
- Labour sales
- Workshop efficiency
- Technician utilisation
- WIP control
- CSI performance
- Warranty compliance
- Ensure effective planning and utilisation of workshop resources.
- Work closely with Parts and Sales departments to maximise customer retention and profitability.
- Manage warranty processes and ensure compliance with Stellantis manufacturer standards.
- Control costs and contribute to departmental budget achievement.
- Ensure all workshop operations comply with Health & Safety and company policies.
- Support recruitment, training and succession planning activities within the department.
- Promote a positive, professional, and customer-focused culture.

Ideally, we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, Workshop Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of automotive service and aftersales operations.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
- Experience managing workshop KPIs and performance.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience within a Stellantis, Fiat, Peugeot, Citroën or Vauxhall dealership environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturer warranty processes.
- Experience of dealer management systems and workshop planning tools.
- IRTEC, technical, or automotive management qualifications.
