An exciting opportunity has arisen, for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and experienced individual to work within the corporate division.

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate a positive attitude, with an ability to develop and improve support services in collaboration with colleagues. The successful candidate will therefore have a track record of managing and leading teams in a complex and changing environment. The General Manager will support you in your role, however, there is an expectation that you will be able to work independently to identify and plan for service needs in line with demand.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the departments with particular reference to the patient experience, operational performance, and budgetary control. Experience of RTT and cancer performance management is essential.

You will be involved with new hospital redevelopment and the introduction of new digital systems.

The postholder will be required to foster working relationships with colleagues in other directorates and with external partners in the Northwest London ICS and Hillingdon Health and Care Partners (HHCP). Other key relationships include the corporate directorates of Nursing, Human Resources, Finance, Clinical, Corporate Governance, and facilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
