Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an experienced and motivated leader to join our Community Services Division as Service Manager for the Worthing and Adur Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams (NMHTs).
This is an exciting opportunity to lead services at a time of transformation. Our integrated Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams bring together primary care mental health provision and specialist secondary care services, creating a more joined-up, responsive and person-centred model of care.
As Service Manager, you'll play a key role in developing and optimising this model, helping to improve access, enhance outcomes and ensure local people receive the right support at the right time.
The opportunity
Working closely with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will provide operational leadership across the Worthing and Adur NMHTs, ensuring services are safe, effective and sustainable.
You will have the opportunity to lead service improvement and transformation initiatives, influence how care is delivered across the local system and support teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients and communities.

What you'll be doing
- Leading the delivery of high-quality community mental health services across Worthing and Adur
- Managing operational performance, quality and financial resources
- Driving service improvement, transformation and efficiency initiatives
- Supporting the development of integrated neighbourhood mental health services
- Leading and supporting Team Leaders and Clinical Leads across the service
- Managing risk, governance, complaints and patient safety processes
- Building strong relationships with clinicians, partners and stakeholders across health and social care
- Ensuring services continue to meet the changing needs of local communities
About you
You will be an experienced operational leader with a track record of managing health or social care services and delivering results in complex environments.
You'll bring experience of service improvement, partnership working, workforce leadership and change management, alongside the ability to motivate teams and maintain a strong focus on quality and performance.
