In this role, soft-skills, strong stakeholder communication and influencing ability along with proven service and solution delivery skills will pay equal measure.
Your role
- Contribute to win work: Understand requirements and support proposal development in relation to both internal and external customer demand. Deliver increased awareness of, engagement with, and adoption of Service Operation capabilities across AtkinsRéalis and our customers.
- Manage client relationships: Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers, understanding their needs and ensure they are met. Provide regular updates on service performance and respond to customer enquiries and concerns.
- Contract and supplier management: Responsible for negotiating and agreeing contracts and contract renewals for both suppliers and customers.
- Financial Management: Set, agree and manage budgets for Service Operation, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively, costs are kept within budget, and that finance systems are updated appropriately.
- Technical service ownership: Accountable for the full service lifecycle relating to both internal and customer facing technical solutions. Maintenance of service roadmaps, requirements definition, service design, and solution development cycle.
- IT Service Management: Ownership of ITIL-aligned IT Service Management capability, including service development strategy, resource planning, tooling and process improvements. Own and approve policy, process, procedures & standards, ensuring comprehensive knowledge is published and managed effectively.
- Manage service delivery: Alignment and coordination of cross-functional teams to ensure that services are delivered to a high standard of quality and meet defined service obligations. Act as senior stakeholder for solution development lifecycle, and as escalation point for service issues.
- Service Level Management: Responsible for agreeing & monitoring the achievement of agreed service levels.
- Continual Service Improvement: Continually evaluate and improve service performance to ensure that services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with customer expectations.

About You
An innovative mindset that delivers creative problem solving on behalf of customers and your service.
- Experience of supporting and driving new business activities in public sector environments, including knowledge of frameworks and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in managing both internal and external stakeholders, achieving high satisfaction/advocacy levels. Ability to explain Service Management concept in business terms and to bring stakeholders on the service lifecycle journey.
- Understanding of key commercial & contractual concepts and structures. Ideally, experience contributing to the creation of service agreements with both customers and suppliers.
- Evidence of managing the performance of a delivery organisation to meet the required service standards.
- Experience of planning and setting budgets, along with successful ongoing management of a service against financial targets.
- A history of holding accountability for a portfolio of services/products, setting service direction in alignment with business strategy, and developing service roadmaps in support of market trends and customer needs.
- Evidence of producing service or product focused case studies and having published some relevant papers/articles or delivered talks.

- Inquisitive and critical thinker who is willing and able to contribute, influence, discuss and develop new ideas.
- Service Delivery and Service Operations management experience.
- Contract management, negotiation and vendor management experience.
- Service Transition and Service Introduction experience.
- At least ITIL4 Foundation qualified.
