A Service Quality Specialist is required within the Aberdeen team of a global energy services provider to support quality performance across a diverse international operation.

This is a key position within a business delivering complex projects and services across the energy sector, where quality, compliance and continuous improvement are central to operational success. Working closely with engineering, operations, projects and supply chain teams, the successful candidate will help drive quality standards across multiple business functions while contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and supporting internal and supplier audits
  • Managing corrective action processes
  • Conducting root cause investigations
  • Analysing quality performance data
  • Supporting the continuous development of the company's Quality Management System
  • Reviewing project quality documentation
  • Supporting tender and contract reviews
  • Facilitating lessons learned programmes
  • Ensuring compliance with industry, customer and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience within Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Management or Engineering roles gained within the energy sector
  • Experience conducting audits within ISO 9001-certified environments is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, continuous improvement methodologies and corrective action processes
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills

Desirable Qualifications

  • A degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related discipline
  • Internal Auditor or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
  • Exposure to API Q2 requirements and subsea or surface equipment environments
