As a Service Request & Asset Management Analyst at Cadent, you'll play a key role in ensuring our IT services are efficient, well governed and aligned to business needs. Working within our IT function, you'll help manage service requests, maintain critical service and asset data, and provide insight that supports operational performance across the organisation.
This is a varied role that combines service management, data analysis and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with IT teams, service partners and business stakeholders to enhance the user experience, improve service delivery and maintain accurate records across our service catalogue and Configuration Management Database analysing trends and identifying recurring issues to supporting service reporting and asset governance, you'll contribute directly to the effective delivery of IT services across Cadent.

What You’ll Bring
You're an organised and analytical IT professional who enjoys working with data, processes and stakeholders to improve service delivery.
Service Management Knowledge
- Experience working within an IT service environment
- Understanding of IT Service Management principles and best practice
- Hands-on experience using ServiceNow, including service request management, ticket handling, reporting and service catalogue processes
- Knowledge of ITIL disciplines is desirable
Analysis & Reporting Skills
- Experience identifying service trends and analysing operational data
- Ability to produce meaningful reports and service insights
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
CMDB & Asset Management Awareness
- Experience working with Configuration Management Databases (CMDBs)
- Understanding of the importance of asset visibility and service mapping
- Ability to support audits and maintain data quality standards
- Experience maintaining service and asset records within ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
Stakeholder Engagement
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into business-friendly language
- Experience working with multiple teams, suppliers and stakeholders
- Customer-focused approach to service delivery
Continuous Improvement Mindset
- Passion for improving processes and service outcomes
- Ability to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency
- Experience supporting organisational change and service improvements
