Key Commercial Role

Responsibilities and Duties of the Service Sales Manager Role

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will:

  • Build and develop lasting relationships with an established customer base, acting as a trusted commercial contact.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts by promoting additional maintenance and engineering services.
  • Generate new business opportunities through market research, networking and direct customer engagement.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and supporting documentation for prospective and existing clients.
  • Liaise with operational and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Support contract discussions, renewals and commercial negotiations where required.
  • Attend customer meetings, industry exhibitions and networking events to strengthen the company’s market presence.
  • Produce regular sales activity reports, pipeline updates and commercial forecasts for senior management.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s service portfolio and industry developments to provide informed advice to customers.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Experience in a commercial, account management or business development role within the wind industry.
  • Knowledge of wind turbine maintenance or engineering services.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence supporting contracts and proposals.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Able to commute to the Perth office.
