Up to £45,000 + £10,000 Guaranteed Bonus + Additional Performance Bonus

Role Overview – Service Sales Manager

Our client is a well-established engineering services organisation with an international customer base and a strong reputation for delivering specialist technical solutions across a range of industrial sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Service Sales Manager to manage and develop customer relationships across the UK and Europe. This is a consultative, customer-facing role focused on identifying service and aftermarket opportunities, understanding customer requirements, and delivering tailored engineering solutions.

This opportunity would suit candidates with a background in industrial maintenance, field service, engineering services, reliability, or capital equipment who are looking to utilise their technical expertise in a commercially focused role.

Key Responsibilities – Service Sales Manager

  • Develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts across the UK and Europe.
  • Visit customer sites to understand maintenance and operational requirements.
  • Recommend service, repair, refurbishment and aftermarket solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Manage the sales process from enquiry through to order completion.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and provide ongoing support.
  • Liaise with engineering, production and commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate sales, quotation and contract documentation.

Experience & Qualifications – Service Sales Manager

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Background within industrial maintenance, field service, engineering services, reliability, repairs, refurbishment, or capital equipment.
  • Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and provide practical engineering solutions.
  • Commercial awareness and strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in technical sales, account management, or business development would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Europe.
