Oxford Instruments is seeking a commercially driven Service Sales Specialist to support the continued growth of our service business across the EMEAI region. This role offers the opportunity to combine relationship management, strategic sales and customer success to deliver sustainable revenue growth from service agreements, upgrades and renewals.

Materials Analysis is an Oxford Instruments Business Unit that manages our Electron Microscopy and Mechanical Microscopy products, Atomic Force Microscopes, Raman Microscopes and Benchtop NMR products. We are part of the wider Oxford Instruments Group, which also includes Andor Technology, NanoScience, Plasma Technology and X-Ray Technology. With a sixty-year history and fourteen Queen's Awards for Enterprise, our world-class products and technologies are helping customers address some of the greatest challenges of the 21st century.

The Opportunity

As a Service Sales Specialist, you'll work closely with customers, service teams, sales colleagues and channel partners to develop and grow our service portfolio. You'll play a vital role in helping customers maximise instrument performance while contributing directly to business growth.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Driving sales of service contracts, renewals and upgrades
  • Building long-term relationships with customers and partners
  • Managing opportunities and forecasting through CRM systems
  • Analysing customer data to identify new revenue opportunities
  • Supporting customer retention and engagement strategies
  • Collaborating with Sales, Service, Marketing and Applications teams
  • Providing accurate reporting and pipeline management
  • Supporting commercial initiatives and regional growth plans

About You

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience in technical, scientific or service sales
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Experience working within scientific instrumentation, technology or service-based environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A customer-centric mindset with a focus on long-term relationship building
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce
  • A data-driven approach to identifying opportunities and driving performance
