Work Set Up

Hybrid (3 days per week onsite mandatory)

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Service Sustainability Programme (SSP) Lead to lead the Service Sustainability Programme for a defined technology and service portfolio. The role will focus on improving stability, resilience, recoverability, and control posture while reducing customer impact and operational risk and improving cost-to-serve.

What you will do:

  • Own the SSP plan and roadmap, creating a prioritised backlog covering resilience, technical debt, obsolescence, controls, monitoring, and recoverability.
  • Drive delivery across Technology, Product and Application owners, Operations, Cyber, Risk and Controls, Change, and suppliers to deliver remediation.
  • Run programme governance cadence, including steering committees and forums, while managing RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Produce clear executive updates and reporting to communicate programme progress, risks, dependencies, and required decisions.
  • Ensure applicable standards are met, evidence is captured, and exceptions are managed through time-bound remediation.
  • Track measurable benefits, including reduced severity-1 and severity-2 incidents, improved availability, reduced vulnerability ageing, improved disaster recovery compliance, and reduced technical debt.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to align priorities, secure funding and resources, and remove delivery blockers.
  • Develop and maintain the SSP portfolio roadmap and prioritised remediation backlog.
  • Establish service health dashboards covering relevant KPIs and KRIs and produce executive reporting packs.
  • Maintain governance cadence, RAID logs, and dependency plans to support effective programme delivery.
  • Coordinate resilience evidence, including disaster recovery test outcomes, monitoring coverage, runbooks, and support models.
  • Develop control uplift plans with defined actions, owners, milestones, and audit-ready evidence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
