Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Service Tanker Driver role based in Inverurie. The Service Tanker Driver is responsible for safely operating tanker vehicles to service, empty, and replenish welfare units, portable toilets, and other site equipment across customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves adhering to health, safety, and environmental procedures, maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and equipment, and providing courteous, professional service to customers on-site. The Service Tanker Driver will work closely with the depot team, reporting any issues promptly and supporting efficient coordination of site services.

Qualifications

  • Ability to safely operate tanker and commercial vehicles, with a valid driving license (HGV/LGV and CPC certification preferred).
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle checks, maintenance reporting, and safe handling of liquids and waste.
  • Strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards, including adherence to relevant regulations and company procedures.
  • Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with site teams and customers.
  • Reliable time management and organizational skills for planning routes, meeting schedules, and completing paperwork accurately.
  • Comfort working in outdoor site environments and performing manual handling tasks as required.
  • Previous experience in tanker driving, waste management, construction sites, or plant hire operations is beneficial.
  • Right to work in the location and willingness to undertake required training and certifications.
