Summary
We’re looking for a Service Team Member to join us at Barrington Court to support our busy teams across visitor operations. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll help us meet targets, solve problems, and deliver great service across different locations.
Salary: £5,425.88 pro rata (FTE £25,837.50 per annum)
Contract: Permanent
Hours/ working pattern: 409.50 hours per year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the

What it's like to work here
Reporting to the Senior Visitor Experience Officer, you’ll be part of a team of three Service Team Members working on a flexible rota basis.
Barrington Court was the first large mansion acquired by the National Trust in 1907. In the 1920s it was restored by Colonel Lyle who created a productive model estate and Grade II gardens influenced by Gertrude Jekyll include the walled Kitchen, White, Rose, Iris and Lily gardens, the gardens include orchards, arboretum and a moat. Barrington Court has a really friendly atmosphere, making it a great place to work.
At the heart of the property is a Grade 1 listed Tudor mansion which is closed for a restoration project, and a Grade 2 listed mansion and farm buildings that are open to the public. What you'll be doing
The core part of your job is to give vital and positive support to your colleagues, wherever you’re needed, with a focus on greeting and helping visitors. No two days will be the same. You’ll work across different visitor areas and sites, helping us meet service and targets. You’ll also be on hand to resolve customer issues in a friendly and helpful way. Tasks could include:
